The Family Tour:
After gearing up at the Raft Centre we will transport the group to the river in our bus or minibuses, taking about 30 minutes. At the river, there will be a safety instruction before splitting into teams for the rafts and duckys. Each raft will be instructed by a river guide and the duckys will be looked after by safety kayakers. After some training, the trip heads down the river, passing sections of gental raipds and calm pools. The guides will be doing their best to entertain you on the way and will undoubtedly be trying to make you fall in. The duckys will be lead down the safest route by the expert Safety kayakers and any swimmers will be rescued and helped back into the boats.
The trip will eventually come to an end in the Evanger lake where the drivers will have hot and cold refreshments ready and be at hand to help carrying the rafts.
After being on the river for about 1.5 hours, we will return to the rafting centre for a hot shower and changing. After the tour the Årestove restaurant will be open where you can view photos from the tour, refresh or feed yourselves. The best way to finish this trip would of course be to take a soak in the hot-tubs whilst a light lunch or dinner is prepared!
LOCATION - Vosso River:
This river runs from Voss to Evanger on the way to Begen. We start in flat water then go with the flow for about 7km, passing sections of gentle rapids with waves and whirlpools, ending in the Evanger lake where refreshments await. |
