Just so you know! Rivers are classed according to difficulty of navigation and level of danger. The class of a river or rapid depends on the water level at the time and may be different from day to day, easier at low flows and harder in high flood.
Our usual Rafting tour takes-on rapids up to class 4+, which as you see below means that it will be fun and exciting, you would not be able to do this safely without a well trained River guide, good instruction and teamwork

Class 1:
Flat water - Time to relax before the next rapids or have fun with the kids

Class 2:
Easy, moving water. Few obstacles. From upper part Stranda River - This where we will take your kids! Fun and safe, fall in, jump in or take over from the guide!

Class 3:
Heavy current, rapids, obstacles, 'Svanhild' - StrandaStranda River - This is what most rafting rivers involve - lots of fun, big waves or drops but if it all goes wrong everything will be all right!

Class 4:
Heavy current, difficult rapids, obstacles, difficult manoeuvring, boats may turn over - Every raft trip has several highlights, you will notice the guides take special procedures to make sure we have maximum fun as safely as possible!

Class 5:
Extremely difficult and dangerous. "Timberhole"- Raundal River, - Not the place for a average raft trip.

Class 6:
Only really navigable by the craziest of people, definately not a raft trip. If things go even slightly wrong it would definitely not be healthy
